How to increase profit with your delivery service?
Open a delivery service with a minimum of costs. Setting up the delivery of ready meals gives you an additional income and the chance to attract new guests. Today we'll talk about the ways to do it with the lowest expenses.

Step 1. Guests attraction

Give bonuses to the guests for using your delivery service. And vice versa: make discounts for the delivery customers in a restaurant. Such way of promoting yourself is one of the cheapest ones (about 5,5 dirham per guest).

Additionally, aggregator services show good results as many people use them, but it only costs you 10% of the order sum. It's fast and convenient - all the orders from the DeliveryClub, for example, are redirected right into the iiko.

Concerning the context advertising and the promoters with the handouts, they may happen to be the way too expensive.

Step 2. Develop the packaging

With every order comes a special set of packages and cutlery for the customers. The control of the packing materials is held automatically in iiko. Define the type of the package for every dish and the system will add it into the order itself. Also, it will assign the right amount of cutlery, writing them off the stock immediately.

Step 3. Define the delivery area

A wide area of the delivery reach will help expand the business significantly. However, it requires a lot of organizational recourses. If you only have one place, we do recommend you to start from a small area and learn the way all the processes run. With a "Heat map" report you can analyze the number of the orders, average time of the couriers' delays, the effectiveness of the ad and the average check. Step 4. Choose a delivery service

You can either create your own delivery service or do a delivery with the outsource. At the start, it is more profitable to use the outsource, as there not so many orders yet. Once there will be more orders, the courier from another company will become more expensive than your own one. Step 5. Setting up the orders taking

When you open a delivery service for a restaurant that is already working, there's a temptation to give all the responsibilities concerning orders taking on the line staff. However, it's not that effective way, as waiters shouldn't switch their attention from the tables, and managers can miss the orders while fulfilling their basic tasks.

There may be two solutions for this case. They are either your own operator or the outsource services, and both of them have pluses and minuses. The operator knows your menu and special offers very well, and he/she is under your control. However, you have to spend money on the working space and the effectiveness will be low in the very beginning.

The outsource will be cheaper at the start, but you'll see your customers don't know the relevant information about your offers.

A solution may be to hire a homeworker. Set an ATE on the operator's workspace, so iiko will define caller's telephone number and tell the operator customer's preferences and whether he/she is in the blacklist.
